Acquirement of Sifco S/A company, maker of forged parts to Trucks and buses, and also the Westport Axle Corp., Sifco's subsidiary, that makes heavy axles to trucks and others components made by Sifco on north american market.
Acquirement of Vulcan Material Plástico Ltda company, maker of plastics laminated.

Expansion of Shell molding line on Barra do Piraí plant (Virabrequins – line 2).

Acquirement of Alujet Industrial e Comercial Ltda. company, maker of Alloy Wheels.
2006
In november had the acquirement by Grupo Brasil, the social reason changed to BR METALS FUNDIÇÕES Ltda.
Acquirement of BR METALS FUNDIÇÕES Ltda., previously called by ThussenKrupp Fundições Ltda., maker of cast parts.
With the definition of “Core business” from G Brasil on metallurgy segment, the company have sold the total of quotas that use to have from Vulcan company to ILP Participações S/A, a new holding, which will act on plastic segment.
